Out of sight, out of mind

It didn't take long for the English speaking world to lose interest in the Eurozone crisis. As equity markets and credit spreads stabilized, propped up by the ECB, the public became less concerned about developments in the Eurozone. The Google News Search Interest for terms related to the crisis has hit new lows.

In terms of where the interest is coming from, India or Singapore tend to come in at the top (depending on the specific type of search criteria). Below is the distribution for "euro crisis" news search for example.
